SinglePoint Intros Mobile Ad Platform
SinglePoint today introduced a mobile ad-insertion platform called “SingleBrand” which it says will help in retrieving and serving ads in conjunction with the scheduled inventory of popular interactive TV shows seen on Bravo, NBC Universal (News - Alert), MTV, FOX, the CW and others.
SingleBrand ad-insertion platform provides easy integration options for ad-networks, giving ad agencies access to an engaged audience of mobile savvy users, according to the company. SingleBrand requests ads from the ad-network for insertion into scheduled interactive TV campaigns, company officials say.
SingleBrand ad-insertion platform offers advertisers SMS ad-insertion for direct response campaigns such as click-to-call, click-to-link, and click-to-SMS, according to the company. It can be easily customized and integrated with third-party campaign creation and advertiser management solutions, to support applications such as ticketing coupons, video streaming and content download. Its additional benefits include enhanced customer targeting, time and location-sensitive campaigns, company officials say.
“There has been high demand from our media and entertainment partners and the advertising community for ad-supported mobile SMS and MMS campaigns. The introduction of SingleBrand is our response to this growing demand,” said Rich Begert, president and chief executive officer of SinglePoint. “SinglePoint has processed close to 100 million interactive transactions over the past twelve months alone, so adding an advertising component to these transactions is the natural next step in expanding our suite of mobile campaign solutions.”
“Mobile advertising revenues are expected to exceed two billion dollars in the United States by 2012,” said Vikrant Gandhi, senior analyst at Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert). “2008 is an exciting turning point for the industry where mobile advertising is actually becoming a line item for leading advertising agencies and brands. A greater participation of advertisers in the mobile advertising opportunity is expected to be the prime growth driver.”
