N-able's N-central NSM Software Toolset Gains Popularity in Education, Finance and Healthcare Sectors
N-able Technologies provider of remote network and systems management software for IT departments and managed service providers announced that its N-central NSM software toolset is gaining popularity among midsize corporations within the education, finance and healthcare sectors.
The NSM toolset helps IT departments to remotely manage, monitor and report on the availability and performance of any device on a distributed network including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, copiers and network devices such as firewalls, routers and switches. N-able’s N-central is available worldwide as a hosted and on-premise solution. Also N-able’s new enhanced version, N-compass 3.1 IT performance reporting solution works seamlessly to gather and communicate vital IT and business information across various areas including network availability and reliability, utilization, regulatory compliance and asset reporting. In a release Gavin Garbutt, president and CEO of N-able Technologies said, “The innovations behind our N-central and N-compass software, combined with our vertical approach to the midmarket, is paying off in spades for us and our channel partners by generating greater demand and appreciation for NSM technology and managed IT services among organizations with 100 to 1,000 users.” Garbutt added further that the company’s sales team along with channel partners has experienced a 90-per-cent close ratio and a 45-to-90-day sales cycle on the vertical market leads generated from the Midmarket Program. N-able is actively participating in a growing number of high-profile associations to ensure its success in the vertical markets also. It is involved with EDUCAUSE, a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology. N-able joined EDUCAUSE to raise brand awareness for N-central and to develop stronger working relationships with community members. Garbutt added, “Being an active member of associations like EDUCAUSE puts us in the heart of the industry and makes it that much easier for us to understand and address the business goals and IT requirements of these organizations.” N-able Technologies’ N-central platform and complementary toolsets, and the company’s business and technical services, help reduce IT support costs, improve network performance and increase productivity through the proactive monitoring, management and optimization of IP-enabled devices and IT infrastructure. Being channel-friendly N-able has successful operations in North America, the U.K., the Netherlands and Australia. Shamila Janakiraman is a contributing editor for TMCnet.
