InnerPass Focuses on Higher Education

InnerPass , a premium Skype (News - Alert) application will improve online education by enhancing Distance Learning. OAK Horizons, a provider of medical training programs, is the latest client to utilize InnerPass Technology.

Kathryn Martin, owner and instructor at OAK Horizons says that irrespective of which course their students enroll with, in most instances the course material is overwhelming in its comprehension. The first real time introduction is vital and can be very helpful as the course content tends to overwhelm most of their students.
Martin noted added that by using InnerPass, they are now able to set up a meeting room and can help their students through the first lesson in real-time. They can also set up check-in and help sessions throughout the semester.
Setting the right tone for their students as well as providing them real-time help and instructions was important to them, she added.
Looking at expansion in roster of partnership and client organizations, OAK Horizons needed to be able to offer more if they were to survive the growing competition.
By deploying InnerPass OAK Horizons were able to implement a system that could facilitate real-time collaboration, content sharing and tutorials between teachers and students. In case student put in a request for extra time with an instructor, the instructor in question can now set up small-group tutorials and invite the students to live-participation.
InnerPass specializes in offering easy-to-use tools, which include screen-sharing and "persistent" meeting rooms. These can help reduce the cost of online instruction, expand access to education and training opportunities, and bring client organizations to the leading edge of educational and training technology.
Steve Parsloe, CEO and president of InnerPass said that the company was looking to go beyond their Skype business users and direct their focus on higher education organizations.
