International software marketing and development company, Kaseya, has just signed a major contract - the 2009 PEPPM technology contract for IT automation solutions.
Established in 1982, PEPPM is a national technology bidding and purchasing program that ensures educational and government companies have affordable, protected rates for purchasing much-needed technology tools.
Through the streamlined bidding process, the program allows more than 1,000 specified public sector schools and agencies to purchase technology products and software off of centralized, bid-protected contracts from more than 200 vendors representing 270 product lines.
PEPPM has been awarding bids under an agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE).
PEPPM program enables higher saving in both processing and pricing, since a central bid reduces paperwork, eliminates specification writing and advertising costs, reduces ordering time and expedites receipt of the items.
The 2009 PEPPM technology contract for IT automation solutions has been awarded to Kaseya (News - Alert) to allow any California and Pennsylvania school, college, university and government agency to purchase Kaseya's IT automation tools.
"Meeting the specific needs of education and government companies can be challenging and Kaseya's IT automation tools have proven to be ideal for these environments," said Jim Randecker, director at PEPPM.
"PEPPM is proud to provide immediate access to Kaseya's solutions, as our centralized network satisfies the unique legal bidding requirements of institutions," added Randecker.
The solutions allow IT administrators to operate cost effectively and easily at a reduced time.
"Kaseya is dedicated to providing best-of-class technology to help IT administrators do more for less and this relationship reinforces our commitment," said Rob Williams, vice president of marketing at Kaseya.
"The PEPPM contract enables us to provide critical IT automation tools to education and government agencies utilizing the program for their purchasing. We look forward to further assisting organizations in integrating their IT and business goals to yield the most efficient and profitable results," added Williams.
