NetSupport (News - Alert) School is education software that gives teachers the opportunity to authoritatively mandate and visually monitor student progress while giving teachers the chance to engage with their students, independently or with the whole classroom.
Recently, the company took a step in the right direction and announced its latest update; NetSupport is now introducing support for Android (News - Alert) tablets. This will now allow teachers to interact with their students from their desktop.
In addition to all the features on the NetSupport School software such as message, chatting, and the ability to ask for help, the Android tablet will give instructors the opportunity to make sure that students are attentive in the classroom. The tablet will allow instructors to broadcast their screens directly to the tablets, engage students in class surveys, present lesson objectives, and lock tablet screens individually or as a group.
As students become more technologically advanced, the need to manage the use of technology has never been stronger. It is important that students are receiving the proper education through creative and interactive ways, at the same time through ways that can be monitored and controlled to ensure their receiving those benefits through their assigned task.
Now, as education invests much a great deal into classroom technology and implementing the moves towards BYOD, this is a natural extension to the NetSupport School software. The software provides are more efficient and effective way teaching ICT.
