Expertus Unveils Latest Version of Cloud-based Learning System

Version 4.0 of ExpertusONE LMS includes several enhancements including ExpertusONE Mobile, ExpertusONE Insights, contextual & continuous social learning, ExpertusONE Meetings, ExpertusONE Link, ExpertusONE Commerce and private cloud hosting.

The enhancements are designed to elevate the platform’s simple-to-use heuristic design to support today’s on-the-go “need it now” enterprise learning environment, the company said.

With ExpertusONE Mobile in place, the LMS can be accessed anywhere from any Android or Apple (News - Alert) iOS device. The offline sync feature allows it to download content right to a learner’s device and then launch it without requiring Internet connectivity. The auto-sync option also helps learners sync all progress/ updates back to the LMS when they are online again.

Additionally, ExpertusONE Insights allows managers to access real-time, business-critical information including individual learning progress, knowledge asset demand, social learning level/quality and other valuable analytics. The Contextual & Continuous Social Learning  platform enhances and adds context to the company’s formal learning programs allowing learners to share knowledge and work experience, post questions, get quick answers, provide valuable feedback (content ratings); and recommend courses to friends and peers, enterprise-wide.

ExpertusONE Meetings enables a meeting and classroom environment that features on-demand collaboration, real-time video conferencing, desktop, application and file sharing and content uploading for collaborative whiteboarding or workshop style participation. ExpertusONE also integrates with all major virtual conferencing solutions for expanded support, tracking, bundling and reporting.

Featuring one of the best integration libraries in the industry, ExpertusONE allows any/all LMS functionality to be implemented or reused by alternative systems and mechanisms via RESTful Web services protocols. Developers can also expand their applications in new ways by building applications, portals, widgets or integrations with other enterprise applications.
