Brightline Interactive’s CEO, Erik Muendel, will participate in the SMAD (School of Media Art & Design) Day at JMU campus. He will be interacting with young talent at the event and will be presenting the company's popular signature experience, the Twitterbuild.
Designed as a custom-designed digital application, Twitterbuild pulls out tweets from the popular social media platforms categorized by specific hash tag (News - Alert) and handles. The tweets that are pulled out are then featured on a large screen on-site and is separated by letter and then transformed to create an image for the screen. The spectators can watch the image develop before their own eyes as the selected tweets adds to the image until a complete picture is created. This process can be repeated for as many images as required.
In a statement, Erik Muendel, said that, “It’s a great feeling to return to my alma mater and see young talent and curious minds that will soon be the thought leaders of their generation. These students are standing on the threshold of graduation, and it’s encouraging as an employer to see so many of them taking initiative in starting a solid career path.”
Organized on the JMU campus, the SMAD Day is an all-day event which brings together students who are keen on looking at new avenues and opportunities after college. At the event, students can take part in career sessions and attend sessions on resume reviews, interviewing tips, and portfolio reviews. The event features experienced SMAD alumni and a number of other working professionals who conduct these sessions. Students and professionals at the event can expand their network connections. Another important benefit of the event is that it helps in creating internships or jobs for students.
At present Brightline Interactive is offering students positions for summer internships.
