A new iPhone (News - Alert) App called Kids Self-Evaluate (KSE) claims to increase self awareness and boost self-esteem for school-aged children.
Released by APG Mobile Applications, this app was designed by a young adult, an 18-year-old high school student from Northern California, who took about three years to come up with this creation.
Kids Self-Evaluate will help school-aged children evaluate the quality of their lives at that moment and will help them determine the positive and the negative points that can be improved.
This app is certainly not a game but is designed by the high school student to enable users in the 8-18 age group to make an informed decision about their lives.
This app can be purchased for $1.99 in the App Store and once installed on the computer will make the parents identify the areas their child needs help in.
APG Mobile Applications notes that it is often not easy to survey children as they are not very open about their responses related to school and the stuff that is generally not going well in their lives.
This newly released app is designed to delve deep into their psyche and reveal their inner most thoughts that will help them know what they can do to make their lives better.
“Kids were never able to get access to anything like this before and I want that to change. The psychometrics in KSE allows them to do just that,” said creator George R. Moskoff. “Yes, we're concerned about any emotional and psychological dust this instrument may stir up.”
Use of mobile applications is continually increasing. Recently, Cameleon Software (News - Alert) announced that its mobile CPQ application has been highlighted as a "social" app on the world's leading business apps marketplace.
