The secure remote support solutions provided by Bomgar (News - Alert) are selected by The University for the Creative Arts (UCA).With this, the company looks to offer remote tech support to a geographically dispersed user base.
Bomgar offers remote support solutions to provide simple and safe support for computing systems and mobile devices. By facilitating them to securely support nearly any device or system, anywhere in the world, the company's appliance-based products assist users in improving tech support efficiency and performance.
Earlier, the support staff at UCA had to face various problems that consisted of supporting various devices. These devices included desktops, servers, laptops, iPhones, iPads and Blackberries. All these devices worked on various platforms that consisted of Windows, OSX, iOS and Linux.
The remote support tools UCA used before Bomgar did not enable multi-platform support. Also, these tools were not scalable to grow with the university. Already, more than 6,500 companies have installed Bomgar to quickly improve customer satisfaction.
James Davies, IT customer services manager for UCA, said ,“It was clear to IT services that a single remote support tool was required to harmonise our support tools and increase our productivity, whilst adapting to the growing needs of the business and to support the university’s strategic direction.”
Recently, the company unveiled 12.3, the latest version of secure remote support solutions. The new Bomgar 12.3 enables users to access and fix nearly any system or device, located anywhere in the world. They may range from remote desktops, laptops, servers, switches, smartphones and tablets. The company offers a safe, feature-rich remote support solution for both administrators and support representatives.
