By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributor
Corent Technology and EMAS Pro Inc recently announced that they released a new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) solution. Corent Technology, Inc specializes in SaaS enablement software solutions and EMAS Pro Inc offers higher education enrolment management solutions. The EMAS Retention Pro - SaaS-enablement platform, has been developed to improve student retention by higher education institutions.
In a statement, Andrei Sergeev, Ph.D., Senior Vice President and CTO, EMAS Pro, said that, "SaaS-enabled by Corent's platform, our SaaS solution makes student retention a possibility for any educational institution, regardless of size or budget. There is no need for complex or time consuming installation or setup; institutions can start working to improve student retention and success immediately. Since EMAS Retention Pro is delivered via a browser, it requires no campus software installation, lowers the barriers to entry, and reduces cost of service."
The EMAS Retention Pro, which is based on Corent's SaaS-transformation platform, has been developed as a fully multi-tenant SaaS application, which will make it easy for educational institutions to leverage a highly scalable, and affordable advanced solution.
Shafi Syed, EVP Engineering, Corent, said that, "EMAS Pro is a great example of how we are rapidly enabling software providers offer elastic and scalable, SaaS applications, resulting in dramatically reduced cost of on-going service delivery. We know EMAS Pro will enjoy tremendous success with their new SaaS offering and their customers will benefit from a truly innovative user experience."
EMAS Retention Pro will provide users with browser-based early alerts and to-do lists which will allow both staff and faculty to initiate and stage campus-wide interventions that focus on helping students. Educational institutions will be able to keep a close eye on customized geo-demographic, academic and behavioral issues for each student which will allow them to delivery programmed outreach initiatives that include e-mails, phone calls, texts and mail to students in need.
Corent's SaaS-enablement platform can quickly transform web applications into highly flexible and scalable SaaS solutions without impacting application code.
