Global provider of networking products TP-LINK announced its Fall 2012 Back-to-School Wireless Networking Lineup.
This latest line-up features the N600 Dual Band Gigabit Router and N600 Dual Band USB Adapter to instantly add a 5GHz upgrade without disrupting the network.
An N600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter, TP-LINK’s TL-WDN3200 gives users the ability to access crystal clear 5GHz connections or legacy 2.4GHz connections at 300Mbps. TL-WDN3200 supports Dual-Band -- IEEE (News - Alert) 802.11b/g/n 2.4GHz, IEEE 802.11a/n 5 GHz --; maximum speed up to 2.4GHz 300Mbps and 5GHz 300Mbps; USB 2.0 interface; easy wireless security encryption at a push of the WPS button.
In addition to combining the functions of two wireless routers in one to broadcast, the router also receives both 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections simultaneously at 300Mbps.
Company officials said that thanks to this, students can not only send e-mails and surf the Web over the 2.4GHz band, but also at the same time stream HD video or play online games over the less congested 5GHz band.
It has now become easier to share printers, files and media due to the two multi-functional USB ports. Company officials said that one Gigabit WAN port and four Gigabit LAN ports support a robust and fast-wired network, which is ideal for HD media and online gaming.
TP-LINK is a provider of SOHO&SMB networking products and it also offers WLAN and Broadband CPE devices. The company’s products are available in over 120 countries to tens of millions customers.
Earlier in April, the company announce the availability of an IPSec VPN Client Software for its SafeStream Gigabit Dual-WAN VPN Router (TL-ER6120), provided by TheGreenBow, an enterprise security software firm.
