Jenne Offers Fast Track Training Course for Avaya IP Office Partners

By Nathesh, TMCnet Contributor

Jenne, a value-added distributor of business telephony and technology products, launched a two-day Fast Track Training course designed for Avaya (News - Alert) Business Partners and Technicians, and conducted them on May 22 and 23 at the Courtyard Marriott Atlanta Airport West, Georgia.

The two-day review course covered IP Office installation, configuration, design and implementation responsibilities, and is stated to equip students and course attendees with the necessary review information to attempt the ACIS – Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist Exam.

The course also helps Avaya IP Office Partners become recertified –a mandatory requirement for Avaya Partners who seek Avaya SME communications credentials (ACIS-SMEC).

Through its partnership with Pearson VUE, Jenne will direct the Avaya Professional Credential exam immediately following the course, while the course content is still fresh in students’ minds.

Jenne reportedly charged $375 per person for the two-day course and $125 as testing fee.

Avaya’s partner training program is reportedly very simple; partners can focus on courses that have a direct benefit to their customers, helping them grow their business both with Avaya and their own customers.

The ACIS –Avaya Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Communications credential certifies that one has attained a baseline level of proficiency required to install, configure and address IP Office implementation issues. Typical candidates for the ACIS-SME Communications credential are individuals with a minimum of six to twelve months of experience as a sales engineer, software specialist, system implementer, system installer, system engineer or support technician.

IntelePeer (News - Alert) CoreCloud SIP Trunking Services were recently certified compliant with Avaya UC solutions and Avaya Collaborative Cloud was supposedly adopted by a number of more colleges and universities.
