Etherios Appoints Tucker MacLean as Nonprofit and Education Practice Director
salesforce.com veteran, Tucker MacLean has recently joined Etherios, a global cloud computing services company, as its new Nonprofit and Education Practice Director.
In a press release, Mike Dannenfeldt, Etherios founder and CEO, said, “Salesforce.com (News In his new role as Nonprofit and Education Practice Director, MacLean will be help Etherios expand upon on its early successes in moving nonprofits to the cloud. Officials said that he will also be responsible for developing a philanthropic strategy for the company to leverage its rapid growth to give back to the community. In 2000, MacLean joined salesforce.com and started consulting in the professional services organization. Later in 2006, he began to take on leadership responsibilities in the nonprofit and social change community. Most recently, he served as VP of Customer Success for the salesforce.com Foundation, where he oversaw partner programs, as well as the adoption and use of Salesforce CRM by more than 13,000 nonprofit organizations. “During my time at salesforce.com I worked with numerous consulting partners and was most impressed by the innovative and efficient customer solutions delivered by Etherios,” said MacLean. “Etherios combines its project experience, technical architecture and training expertise into a methodology that accelerates its customers’ success. I’m excited to help extend these benefits to the nonprofit community.” MacLean also noted how this methodology leverages and relies on the social capabilities of the Force.com Platform, which is long overdue for nonprofits that have always had to be “social organizations”. In related news, Etherios announced the opening of two new Solution Centers in response to the company’s rapid growth and its success in delivering cloud-based solutions for its clients.
