LearningStation Inc., a provider of cloud-based, formative assessment software for K-12 education, has upgraded student online testing platform specifically designed to run on iPads, iPods, iPhones, and other mobile and tablet devices.

Thanks to this technology, teachers and school administrators now have the ability to administer their formative and benchmark assessments to students using Apple (News - Alert) or Android mobile and tablet devices.

Officials with the LearningStation said that Insight Assessment platform enables district administrators, school administrators, and teachers to assess student understanding and mastery of common core and other state-mandated curriculum standards throughout the school year through the creation and delivery of formative and benchmark assessments. 

Back in March 2011, Brady, a company that provides high-efficiency HVAC systems and comprehensive building solutions for commercial and industrial facilities across North Carolina, announced that Phil Kirk, director of Brady Energy Services, had been re-elected to the LearningStation board of directors.LearningStation provides customized e-learning tools for K-12 classrooms. The company provides an online application for teachers to create standards-based formative assessments in language arts, math, social studies and science.

LearningStation also connects administrators, teachers, parents and students to maximize the digital classroom and improve student achievement through teacher Web pages, document sharing and classroom resources.
