Combining high-definition video, web and audio conferencing, GoToMeeting with HDFaces enables an amazing, telepresence-like meeting experience simply using a webcam and an Internet connection. The services is purported as a rich, integrated collaboration experience option for everyone. It can enable natural real-time face-to-face collaboration between conference participants at an affordable price.

According to Citrix, the HDFaces feature was built on the idea that everyone should have easy access to high-definition video conferencing, without the need for expensive hardware or video systems. Anyone with an Internet connection and a webcam can use GoToMeeting and get high definition group video conferencing at no additional cost.

By enabling students to have access to this facility, TCS ES has become the first higher educational institution in the nation to offer GoToMeeting for every student. TCS ES asserted that its core aim is to leverage newer technologies to improve the advancement of teaching and learning.
