SugarCRM (News - Alert), a global cloud-based Customer Relationship Manager (CRM), announced its solutions are assisting in maximizing student enrollment and revolutionizing marketing efforts in the education sector.
The market opportunity is significant as many institutions are using disjointed systems without any unified data systems to enter, manage or track prospects.
SugarBush Media Solutions, a provider of educational marketing solutions designed to engage and convert prospect students, is implementing SugarCRM as part of their rollout to 87 Michigan District Lutheran Schools in 2011.
Leveraging SugarCRM solutions, Michigan District Lutheran Schools will have a fully integrated Web-based platform that interfaces seamlessly with social networking sites like Facebook (News - Alert), Web 2.0 and SugarBush’s own Marketing Automation Platform.
“The Michigan District Lutheran Schools CRM project is a big pilot for SugarBush,” said Mark Parent, president and CEO of SugarBush Media Solutions, in a statement. “We have done a lot of research and development on this, and no one, to our knowledge, has integrated a platform that has so much capability. Plus, once we launch this K-12 version, launching single editions for colleges and universities will be easy to implement.”
This CRM will revolutionize the way the school system attracts and retains students taking them from antiquated paper systems and excel spreadsheets. A college- and university-tailored SugarCRM is slated to unveil in Q1 of 2012.
The SugarCRM is designed to eliminate manual marketing efforts to a streamlined, efficient and customized Web-based database management application. This new system will allow users to manage prospective students, save time managing important details and increase enrollment.
Recently, SugarCRM announced that it will be adding new features to Sugar6-CRM. As a result, SugarCRM now offers support for the Android (News - Alert) mobile OS, the BlackBerry platform. A new Sugar Mobile application for the iPad serves as a powerful mobile tool for sales, marketing and support professionals.
