NetLearning's LMS a Finalist for 2011 CODiE Award

The latest version of NetLearning’s Learning Management System is a 2011 CODiE Award finalist in the Education Technology category Best Professional Development Solution.

NetLearning, a part of Cengage Learning, is a premier provider of online courses and e-learning software for healthcare workers and hospital administrators.

 

With the help of the NetLearning LMS, more than 600 healthcare facilities are able to manage the educational requirements of their staff, track training compliance, and personalize each learner’s interface.

 

With an easy-to-use, flexible and powerful platform, the latest version of the LMS adds a number of new capabilities to the existing SCORM 1.2 certified LMS platform, including a fully web-based Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) delivery model, pre-assessment by course and curriculum, and a customizable portal-based end user interface.

 

The CODiE Awards showcase the software and information industry’s finest products and services, as well as honor excellence in corporate achievement. This year, of the 425 total CODiE Award nominations awarded, just 113 products from 80 companies were selected as finalists. The judging panel – consisting of subject matter experts, analysts, journalists, and others with deep experience in the field – intensively reviewed these nominated products via live demonstration, trial product access, and analysis of product documentation.

 

In related news, NetLearning announced the expansion of its suite of online courses from the American Heart Association, a supplier of emergency cardiovascular care resources.
