The University of Deusto, a Spanish university founded in 1916, has signed a cooperation agreement with AURA, owner of the AuraPortal Learning System.
AuraPortal is a web-based Business Process Platform offering a set of 6 essential applications in the same environment. It is said to include not only the process modeling, execution and monitoring tools but also a complete CRM set of functionalities built on Process Patterns as well as SCM (Supply Chain Management) features. Also it comes with a communication and collaboration platform in Intranet and Extranet for employees and external agents and a Documents management system that can link and connect with Accounts, Project Management, Costs, Revenues, Items, Areas, etc.
As per the agreement with the Spanish University, AURA has agreed to provide Deusto with a software tool for its use in educational activities in order to introduce and develop educational and research programs for BPM technologies.
Currently, the AuraPortal BPM Suite is being used by the UTIC (Technical Unit for Innovation and Quality) for the implementation of quality processes in colleges.
This agreement is said to allow the use of the software within the educational field, which will be applied for a Postgraduate Degree called: “Innovation and Skills Development in Upper Education” and for degree program final projects.
