Aastra 5000 also enables an administrator to manage the network remotely from any PC through a web browser. System data is stored in a central database that facilitates installation, configuration, operation and supervision of the network.
The Company also revealed that it will be offering the Aastra Management 7450 along with the Aastra 5000. Aastra Management 7450 is an administration software that allows management of up to 2,000 sites in a centralized manner like telephony, security, directories, alerts and so on.
