Pivot Charter School San Diego Now Enrolling, Information Session Scheduled Feb. 20

SAN MARCOS, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

Pivot Charter School, San Diego, an accredited public charter school serving students, grades 6-12, in San Diego and surrounding counties, has scheduled a local information session to help interested students and parents learn more about the innovative hybrid learning program. The information session will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Pivot Charter School, 1030 La Bonita Drive, Suite 350, San Marcos. Pivot is currently enrolling students for the spring semester and the 2013-14 school year.

Pivot San Diego offers site-based and virtual educational options that tailor learning through an online curriculum that lets students learn at their own pace. Students in the site-based option attend school at the San Marcos facility from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays/Thursdays or 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and receive support from credentialed teachers on-site and online. Students who choose the completely virtual option complete their coursework from the comfort of their own homes, have online access to credentialed teachers who provide real-time instruction 24 hours a day Monday through Friday and can meet with teachers in person at Pivot's San Marcos facility if additional assistance is needed.
