BRIEF: Class 5-A Lufkin pours it on Fight'n Maiden soccer

LUFKIN, Jan 16, 2013 (Jacksonville Daily Progress - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Jacksonville High School's girls soccer team fell to 0-2 in the new season after losing their latest match, 9- 0, to Lufkin on Friday night in Lufkin.


Lufkin led 2- 0 at the break, with one of those points coming on a penalty kick, but it was all Lufkin in the second half.

The Maidens will play in the Athens Tournament this weekend.
