Speaker Lineup and Agenda Announced for CED Life Science Conference 2013

CED, the Southeast's largest entrepreneurial support organization, today announced the agenda and speakers for the CED Life Science Conference 2013, February 27-28, 2013, in Raleigh, North Carolina. The North Carolina Biotechnology Center and North Carolina Biosciences (NCBIO) are presenting partners.

The keynote speakers at the CED Life Science Conference 2013 are N. Anthony (Tony) Coles, M.D., chairman and CEO, Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Dr. Samuel Nussbaum, M.D., executive vice president, Clinical Health Policy and chief medical officer, WellPoint, Inc.; and Jack W. Szostak, Ph.D., recipient of the 2009 Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine, investigator, Howard Hughes (News - Alert) Medical Institute, and professor of genetics, Harvard Medical School.

The conference co-chairs are David P. King, CEO, LabCorp; Ed Mathers, partner, NEA; and Bradley Wilson, president and CEO, Blue Cross andBlue Shield of North Carolina. The CED Life Science Conference attracts more than 1,000 life science entrepreneurs, investors and industry professionals.
