ResCare VP Named to National Board

ResCare's Vice President of Residential Youth and Education Services, Dennis Roberts, has been elected to Foster Family-based Treatment Association's (FFTA) board of directors, filling the seat for a three-year term.
Mr. Roberts leads ResCare's Residential Youth and Education Services which provides foster care, emergency placement, residential and therapeutic services to children.
FFTA is an agency-led organization of treatment foster care providers that was established in 1988 to define and refine treatment foster care practices. The organization addresses a variety of foster care issues that range from assisting agencies in implementing new treatment models to training and recruiting foster parents.
In commenting on his appointment to FFTA's Board, Mr. Roberts said, "It is a great privilege to serve on the board. The association is a valuable resource for organizations that provide these much needed services. This offers ResCare an opportunity to exchange ideas with other treatment foster care professionals and contribute the knowledge we have gained in the decades we've served in this field. Most importantly, it will add to our efforts to provide the highest quality services to the youth and families we support."
