DPR Foundation Grant Program Awards $845,000 to Youth Organizations in 2012
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
The DPR Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated
to helping disadvantaged children reach their full potential through
regional organization support, today announced the expansion of its
2012-2013 grant awards program to 15 organizations, with three new
grantees joining the 12 returning from last year. The Foundation
distributed $750,000 in grants to support these organizations' efforts
in local youth development programs with an additional $95,000 in
discretionary funds that will be dispersed regionally for the coming
year.
The DPR Foundation was established in 2008 by DPR Construction, one of
the nation's top technical builders focused on highly complex and
sustainable projects. Over the past five years, the Foundation has
awarded more than $2.4 million to 21 different organizations focused on
providing community support to grade school and high school-aged
children. The impact of this support has been realized through a variety
of programs, from after school support organizations to summer camps to
caring for homeless children.

Grant winners are selected annually by the DPR Foundation board and
local DPR teams. In addition to financial assistance, DPR volunteers
make the annual commitment to donate their time to their local
organizations. The Foundation measures the success and progress of these
programs on an annual basis to ensure each grantee stays on mission and
is achieving results.
