A software industry veteran with more than 25 years experience driving accelerated growth companies, Singh will lead Connection Cloud at a time when its technology is experiencing rapid acceptance in the enterprise market.

Singh is a highly regarded Silicon Valley leader with a proven track record of taking both established and emerging software companies to accelerated levels of growth. He will drive company initiatives to further penetrate the global market and to develop new channel opportunities for the technology which launched in June, 2012.

In leading company business strategy, Singh will work closely with Roger Sippl, Connection Cloud founder and lead architect. Sippl will continue as Chief Technology Officer and take the post of Executive Chairman as well.

Ajay Singh Biographical Information

Ajay Singh is a software and services industry veteran with over 25 years experience both building and leading high growth technology companies through successful exits, as well as managing more mature software businesses. Ajay was previously Vice President and General Manager of BMC Software's (News - Alert) Service Assurance business where he turned around a declining multi-hundred million dollar software business. As Vice President Application Management, Ajay drove several acquisitions and played a key role in helping differentiate BMC's Cloud and DevOps offerings.

Prior to BMC Software, Ajay was Founder/CEO of ProactiveNet an Application Performance Management company that he successfully grew and sold to BMC software in 2007. Prior to founding ProactiveNet, Ajay was General Manager of Sun Microsystem's $100M+ Asia-Pac Latin America services business that he grew in excess of 30%. Ajay also lead worldwide marketing for SunService and was instrumental in using services to position Sun for success with Enterprise customers. Prior to Sun, Ajay was an Engagement Manager in the technology and strategy practice at Booz, Allen and Hamilton.

Ajay holds an MBA from Stanford University, a MS in Computer Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
