COPD Foundation Hosts 2012 Annual Awards and Recognition Benefit in New York City, Honors 50th Anniversary of the Discovery of Rare Genetic Disorder

Other honorees include:

• Women in Government -- for leadership in educating US state legislators about the significant impact of COPD on women.
• Joan and Richard Cowlan -- for underwriting Estate and Financial Planning for People Living with COPD. Authored by Martin Shenkman, CPA, MBA, J.D., the book is a unique and critically important resource for individuals affected by COPD.
